The Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County, Office of Community Health and Planning (OCHP) is looking for speakers as part of its webinar series titled “Healthy Happens Here”. Each month, OCHP is hosting three events on a variety of topics, including nutrition, mental health, tobacco cessation, and chronic disease self-management. The events are and open to the public, and are typically announced a month ahead of time.
OCHP is currently looking for leaders in the community who are interested in speaking on public health topics, in particular the topics mentioned above. Speaker requirements:
- Speakers must share their information in an educational manner. Remember our goal is to educate the community to improve health.
- Speakers must present on a public health topic approved by the Office of Community Health and Planning.
- Speakers must be able to present pro-bono.
