Children and Traumatic Stress

Event description: Child traumatic stress refers to the physical and emotional responses of a child to events that threaten the life of the child or of someone critically important to the child. Social workers, teachers, counselors and others that plan to work with children in other ways are invited to participate in this informative, program and learn what the impact is to a child’s well-being.

The parking lot on which Kristi House sits is controlled by Miami-Dade County and is $10 per car. Kristi House has a few designated spots to the right as you enter the lot, and if those are available, guests are welcome to use. Please note parking is extremely limited, and if possible we encourage carpooling or public transportation. Kristi House is located two blocks south of Culmer Center Metrorail Station.
