The 2021 Virtual Consortium Annual Event and Awards Ceremony takes place Friday, October 1, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Registration is required for this event. The cost to attend this event is $25.00. To register, please click here.

This year, the event is in partnership with the Florida Worksite Wellness Awards. The event will recognize the work of the Consortium members and committees as well as Florida businesses that have demonstrated workplace wellness programs and whose employees have achieved positive health outcomes. For this year's theme "Fall Into Healthy Habits", attendees will have the exciting opportunity to learn from national leaders in the field of public health, learn best practices on how organizations are promoting healthier lifestyles in their workforce, and how local entities can achieve health equity in their communities.

Nominations - Florida Worksite Wellness Awards

Since 2009, the Worksite Wellness Committee of the Consortium for a Healthier Miami-Dade has hosted the annual Florida Worksite Wellness Awards. This award honors businesses with demonstrated workplace wellness programmatic and employee positive health outcomes.

The deadline for the 2021 Florida Worksite Wellness Awards nomination submissions has closed as of Friday, July 30, 2021 at 5:00 pm. We want to take a moment to thank all the worksites that have submitted their nomination applications. We look forward to seeing you at the Annual Event and Awards Ceremony on Friday, October 1, 2021 where the winners will be announced.

The three categories are:

Small Employer Group: < 500 employees
Mid-sized Employer Group: 500 – 1000 employees
Large Employer Group: > 1000 employees
